Phew! Been awhile, hasn't it? Lots of things happenin' lately, not much time to chronicle them.
It's almost time for Spring Break already... week after next is the week before. I really don't know where this semester's been going! Then again, I've been pretty busy between classes, clubs, research, and life-things to take care of, so maybe that's helping to speed it along, I dunno. Tomorrow will mark the first midterm in all four of my classes, but I can really only afford to quit worrying about them for a couple of days, and those will be eaten up by research and class projects.
Oh well, I will enjoy the hell out of not feeling the vague need to quiz myself in my head for as long as I can >:C
Research itself is going fairly well so far. Gonna start setting up the first part of the experiment after Spring Break, and then get to work planning the second part. I turned in an application for an undergrad grant this morning, and I've got another one to finish this weekend, but the frantic writing of proposals should come to an end after that. We're also meeting with a few of the experts on the species I'm working with, so I have to come up with a list of questions to ask about their work with it, and what suggestions they have for setting things up, as well as reviewing all of the literature on my topic to make sure I don't duplicate anyone's experiment.
And the meeting is happening the week before break. On Wednesday. I have two exams on Monday and one on Tuesday

I think... I am going to die.
Aside from that, I haven't had a whole lot of time to do much writing, which makes me a little bit sad. I'm mostly over on Tumblr now, and I stick unpolished little drabbles and snippets of things up there, but it's not as fulfilling as actually sitting down, planning out a story, and putting your full attention into it. I am finally being able to catch a little reading time between classes, though, so I've been struggling to catch up on my sci-fi. Not... not doing so well with that, right now.

Yeap, that's all for now. I'm a boring little schoolwork-and-science machine at the moment
